Suzuki enjoyed a successful year of amateur racing by leading the competition in all 3 of the major racing segments:85cc category:
- Eli Tomac
- 18 Amateur National Championships - Most championships of any amateur racer during the 2008 season and ELI was named "Amateur racer of the Year" by AmateurMX magazine.
"B" level category:
- Kyle Regal
- 9 Amateur National Championships - Most championships of any "B" level amateur racer.
"A/Pro" level category:
- Darryn Durham
- 9 Amateur National Championships - Most championships of any "A" level amateur racer. Highlighted by a sweep of the Mammoth Mtn. MX Pro classes (only the 4th racer in the 40 year history of the event) and winning the AMA Horizon Award (awarded to the top "A" amateur racer of 2008).
