By using a t-handle you can quickly loosen a fastener then use the t-handle to spin it quickly all the way out. The same goes for reassembly. No tedious ratcheting back and forth, or repositioning a wrench 3 times per turn. Just pure, unencumbered speed.

One of the coolest things I ever saw was the Factory Ducati World Superbike team disassembling one of their race bikes. Armed only with ¼” and 3/8” Motion Pro square drive t-handles and a rack full of sockets, two technicians removed a used engine and installed a new one in under 45 minutes. It was amazing. From right off the track to ready to head back into battle in 45 minutes. Those guys are my heroes.
