Hey Everyone

We are back into the GP action and the summer has even finally come it seems. What a combo. After the 1 month break from the GP Series during the SWC (World Cup), we kicked off again last week in Gorican, Croatia. When we landed in Croatia, the temperatures hiked to a warm 34c from the 20c that we had been having so that took some adjusting. Nice though!:)) I was feeling fresh and turned some good fast times in practice so that stage was set as far as I was concerned. I started the night with 2 great heats and then battled with the tough gate positions as everyone did. Fortunately on the night I had the favorable red gate twice. I finished the heats with 9 points and 3rd choice of gates in the semi final. There was either gate blue or white left so I chose the blue. I made a good start over Jonsson and led down the back straight with hard pressure from Jonsson on the inside. I then missed the inside groove slightly and was overtaken by Jonsson on the inside and Gollob on the outside. Damn that hurt :() but I battled hard to get back to a final position without success. I ended the night with 10 points and continue to lead the overall standings with 6 points. 5 rounds to go!!

In Sweden, Piraterna took a great away win in Norrköping against Vargarna (The Wolves) last Tuesday (July 31) and jumped up a place in the league table to 2nd. This is a good position for us as we get closer to the play off series as 1st and 2nd in the table go directly to the semi finals. I scored 13+1 points.

For Poland, it was a canceled race in Leszno last Sunday (July 29) after some heavy rains throughout the night. It was a long way to travel from Gorican to Leszno only to be rained out but track conditions were totally unrideable. The race is schedules for August 7!

Last night I rode for my Czech team Mseno at home where we lost another vital match and causing us a place in the semi final now. It has been a hard season for the club with injuries etc but I’m sure we they will come back stronger in 2013!
