Bykerk Dominates Ontario Women's Endurocross
While much of the team has been busy preparing for ISDE and GNCC, our Canadian-duo Bobby Prochnau and Chantelle Bykerk ventured to California for round four of the Geico Endurocross series in Ontario, California.
Since X Games, Chantelle Bykerk has made it clear she has the raw and indisputable talent on a bike to take control of the the Women's class in the series, and she did just that in the newly added Women's round at Ontario. Although this round did not count for points in the chase for the championship, Bykerk is heading into Denver with a boost of confidence and extra seat time. Currently she sits just -17 points from fellow KTM rider Maria Forsberg.
In the Men's Pro class, Bobby Prochnau found himself with a few strikes of bad luck throughout the night, just barely missing each qualifier by a position. This hasn't put a damper on Prochnau's ultimate goal, and he is back on the track; focused on Denver's Main Event.
