WARNING
This product should be installed by a professional mechanic in accordance with your vehicle factory shop manual and specifications. Improper installation could result in great bodily injury or death.
Before starting the engine, be sure the throttle operates smoothly and check that
throttle body is fully closed when throttle is released.
After starting the engine, turn the handlebar to the right and to the left to be sure the throttle operation is not affected.
1. Preparation:
a) Before installation, lubricate cable with an appropriate cable lube such as Motion Pro
Cable Lubricant (P/N 15-0002)
b) Securely place motorcycle on side stand
2. Installation and routing: This cable is designed to route on the front side of the handlebar and behind the front number plate. Route cable on the opposite side of CDI box. If CDI box is mounted on the left side of steering head, route cable on the right side of steering head and vice versa.
If the CDI box is mounted under the seat, route cable on the left side of steering head.
