Support OHV Access on Cape Hatteras

Bills Introduced in House and Senate to Protect OHV Access to Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational Area: Hearing Scheduled.

Please click the Send Message button below to encourage your Members of Congress to support and cosponsor H.R. 819 and S. 486.  These bills would reinstate the Interim Management Plan for Species Management on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational Area.  What this means is that the Consent Decree that severely restricts OHV access to Hatteras would be set aside.  The Consent Decree is a result of a lawsuit settlement resulting from a case brought by Defenders of Wildlife and The National Audubon Society represented by the Southern Environmental Law Center.
