Motion Pro Armor Rim Strip Tape

Have you ever taken apart a wheel and had to deal with a nasty torn up and rotted rubber rim strip? Maybe that rim strip failed, and also took out your tube too? Or maybe you bought a used bike and found out the last owner was lazy and just wrapped the rim with duct tape, and it held water around the spokes and now all the spoke nipples are rusted to the spokes?
There are some things that just don’t work well, but no one ever seems to get around to making something better. Well, Motion Pro got around to fixing the rim strip.
The new Armor Rim Strip is made from a high tech material that is super tough and durable, yet also low friction, so it won’t rub holes in your tube, or shift around. It is adhesive backed to stay firmly in place, but does not fall apart like duct tape will under the rigors of riding off-road. The adhesive also keeps it in place over the spoke nipples, and even several tire changes won’t dislodge it and allow the tube to get damaged against exposed spoke nipples. When it comes time to replace it or service your wheel, it removes easily in one piece with no mess.
