bought a 01-2584 throttle kit for yz85 and the crimped end on cable at carburetor end fell off before using. is there a replacement cable for this kit, if so what is the part number? PS not impressed that this happened

Sorry for the delay in responding to you. There is a cable available on it's own, the part number is 01-1048. You description of the problem you have is not as clear as it could be, was there a problem with the fitting on the housing, or the barrel on the wire? If there is a manufacturing or material defect that caused this, it would be covered under our warranty program. I would encourage you to call 650-594-9600 and speak with someone in the warranty department who can more exactly determine the problem you are having, and help you solve it.
