Can't find the right control lever

I'm looking to replace the control lever on my 77 yamaha it 250, but the guy that had it before me put different handlebars on her. I ordered a motion pro lever from bike bandit and it didn't fit, the only marking on the old clutch handle is a small figure that looks the same as the one on the motion pro lever (that i ordered). The old one says JY-1041, the new one i ordered says JY-739-0. I need the one that says JY-1041, can anyone help? thanks!

Hello,

We suggest taking back the part you purchased from Bike Bandit. You can take in your assembly to a dealer and they can help find you the correct lever to fit. Another option is to purchase a new lever and perch assembly completely, you can find them on Motion Pro's website here: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/tools/category/lever_and_perch_assemblies/

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Thanks
