carb sync tool
i have motion pro mercury synchro tool; the carb vacuum is pulling the mercury past the restrictors and into the tubing....what might be wrong? Casey Detroit

If the reservoir is filled properly (mercury level slightly below the vent hole) then the vacuum limit of the tool is simply being exceeded. The mercury tools have a vacuum limit of approximately 55cm/hg. If the reservoir is close to empty, then the tool is pulling air into the tubes, which will cause the remaining mercury to be pulled into the intake. If this is the case, I am sorry, but we are not able to help you, since we are no longer allowed by California state law to stock or sell mercury.
