I juste bought a Chain breaker kit at 136$ at my Honda dealer near Montreal and i am very desappointed of the quality of the parts. EACH of the 3 pin i have broke at their first use. And i followed the instructions step by step. I called my dealer and he tell me he cannot replace it or refund me. I hope i will have some help from you.

Hello Alain,
What kind of chain were you working on? I would guess a 5 series chain. There is only one pin (4mm) that is used on a chain of that type. Use of any of the smaller pins will guarantee their failure. In using the 4mm pin, it is a very good idea to grind off the head of the chain pin to reduce the load on the tool, and alignment of the pin is critical as well. Failure to follow these steps can result in failure of the pin. Did you follow each of these steps? There is a reason there is 4 pages of instructions with the tool! If you would like to have your problem considered as a warrantable issue, your best contact would be to email the warranty department at warranty@motionpro.com, and they can further assist you.
