Liqued filled guage

I JUST GOT A NEW LIQUID TIRE GUAGE 0-60 . Should there be a air bubble in the guage ? 08-0402 and what affect does it have on the guage ?

This question has been answered.

Hello Jim-

Yes, there should be a small air space inside the gauge to allow for expansion and contraction of the fluid and the air due to temperature changes. A visible space between 1/8" and 3/8" is perfectly normal, and the fluid level has no effect on the accuracy of the gauge.

Thank you for your inquiry~
