Rev limiter at half throttle
I got a 06 Polaris Predator 500 that has a motion pro twist throttle. When I get to about half throttle the engine spudders like its hitting a rev limiter. Is this due to the Torcs plug that the twist throttle does not use? Do i need to bridge the 2 wires from the plug to fix the issue?

Hello-
When a twist throttle is installed, the two wires plugged into the thumb throttle on 2006 Polaris Predator 500 should be disconnected and insulated from one another. If the wires contact each other or become grounded it will cause a similar symptom.
If the wires are properly insulated and the problem still occurs, check carburetor reassembly and the intake tract for obstructions such as rags used during throttle cable installation.
For trouble shooting other possible causes for poor engine performance, refer to the 2006 Polaris Predator 500 service manual to diagnose the problem.
