The Armor Coat Cables are discoloring on my bike, why is that happening?

The discoloration could be from a number of causes. Some chemical cleaners can react with the clear coating, as can UV light from the sun, and even some lubricants can be an issue. The discoloration that we have seen is permanent, and cannot be removed or cleaned.
