Throttle and idle cables for a 1980 FLH S&S carb
I got throttle and idle cables for a 1980 FLH and pulled them out of the packaging on the assumption one would be thicker than the other - wrongly, cos now I don't know which one is which.\n\nWould I be right in thinking the one with the small spring at the carb end is the idle cable ?\n\nThanks

All Motion Pro cables have a part number stamped into the housing in white lettering. This stamp is usually near the fittings on one end or the other. Please provide those part numbers so that we can help you identify which cable is which.

Sorry, these don't have any markings. They are braided lines with a clear covering and chrome end fittings. No markings at all.
The two cables appear to be exactly the same as each other except that one has a small spring at the carb end and the other does not.
I'm assuming they are Motion Pro because that's the packaging they came in, but maybe that's not correct ?
