St. Louis Race Report

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (March 29, 2015) – Round 13 of the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series was held in the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo.  58,552 fans packed the dome and all of the racing action was aired live on Fox Sports One.

Weston Peick, who suffered a hard crash last week in Detroit came to St. Louis ready race and qualified for the main event from heat race one.  Phillip Nicoletti transferred to the main from semi two.  Peick began the main event in second place, Nicoletti was unfortunately collected in a crash when another rider jumped directly into his line exiting just the second turn after the start.  Nicoletti was scored in 20th after the conclusion of lap one.  Peick rode in podium contention until just after the halfway mark when he was relegated to fifth, which is where he finished.  Nicoletti was able to ride up to 13th at the checkers.

After a weekend off for the upcoming Easter holiday, round 14 of the 17-race series will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Tex. on April 11.  Fox Sports Two will broadcast the race live starting at 8:00 p.m. (EST).
