The 2015 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship begins this weekend with Round 1 at Calabogie Motorsports Park in Ontario, and Jodi's Hondas are just about ready for action. As a preview for the weekend's activities, we thought we'd share some shots of the bikes getting their finishing touches before they are loaded up for the track.
The internals of one of the 600 motors all lined up and ready for assembly. The four pistons at the back are stock, the ones nearest the camera are CP-Carillo high-compression pistons, provided by Orient Express.
Each bike gets a Yoyodyne slipper clutch, provided by Blue Streak Racing. The clutch lets us adjust how much engine braking makes it to the rear wheel, helping Jodi get the best corner entries possible.
A new supporter for this year is GB Racing; their engine covers are super light and easily install over the stock covers. They are provided through Orient Express and also available now through the Accelerated Technologies shop.
Each of the bikes gets one of these Dimple magnetic drain plugs. They are strong enough to hold up the biggest wrench we could find in the shop!
Final assembly of the last 600 in the Accelerated Technologies shop.
Motion Pro, another great supporter of the team, provided these Rev2 throttle kits. The kits have a number of different reels that let us adjust how much the throttle opens for a given twist at the grip.
Superbike beauty: Vortex rearsets are nice and grippy for Jodi's feet. DID and Sunstar have graciously provided all the chains and sprockets we need for the four bikes. You can also see here the switch in the shift rod that activates the Bazzaz quickshifter unit.
This EarthX battery is smaller than the stock unit and shaves six pounds off the superbike in one easy modification.

AiM has graciously been providing the team with all its data acquisition needs and we are happy to have them on board for another year. We use this AiM solo GPS lap timer that also records data, moving it from bike to bike as needed, and one of the superbikes has a complete AiM EVO4 system.
The team's requirements for oils, fluids, grease and even hand cleaner have been looked after by Motul. All of Motul's great products are available in Canada through Motovan.
