Motion Pro Sponsored KWR Heads to Barber Motorsports Park

MACEDON, N.Y. (June 11) -- After a successful weekend in Wisconsin for the Millennium Technologies home race, the Kyle Wyman Racing team heads to Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, Alabama for the fifth round of the AMA/FIM MotoAmerica road racing series June 12-14, 2015.

Barber offers a unique challenge with it's notoriously hot weather conditions, and should play to the favor of the oldest and middle of the Wyman brothers, Kyle and Travis.

"I always look forward to Barber every season," Kyle said. "The forecast looks to be just as hot as ever, but I've been putting in the hours on my Shimano-equipped Felt Bicycles and have been feeling great these past couple weeks. I'm looking forward to the challenge."

Kyle sits in the 7th position in Supersport series standings going into the Alabama event, with consistent top-10 finishes in the opening rounds of the season. He says it's about the elusive top-5 this weekend.

"The top-5 finish has been just out of our reach this year, and it seems like each weekend there's just a small hiccup that sets us behind," Wyman added. "This weekend I feel we have the best package with the motorcycle that we've had all year, and I'm feeling back to 100% as well. I'll be ready to go right out of the gate."

In the Superstock 600 category, middle brother Travis plans to continue is impressive streak of podium finishes. He has finished on the podium in all six of the opening races in the series, with his first win coming at the last round at Road America. He says consistency is key in staying alive in the championship hunt.

"I can't wait to get to Barber and continue having fun battling at the front," Travis said. "We've been really consistent this year and it's allowed us to retain a super close three-way battle in the points chase. Anything can happen on any given weekend, but I want to continue to reach the podium in every single race, that's my goal."

Action starts Friday morning, June 12th at 9:00 A.M. EST when the Superstock 600 class hits the track for first practice. All of the action can be viewed LIVE on for video coverage.
