MILLFIELD, Ohio (June 10, 2015) - The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/FAR Arrive-N-Ride Team captured 11 top-five finishes at the John Penton GNCC on Sunday, with two riders claiming a victory in their respective classes. XC2 Pro Lites rider Nick Davis captured his second straight win in the highly competitive class, while Grassroots rider Korie Steede made GNCC history as the first female to win the Super Mini (12-13) class.
In the XC1 class, Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/FAR Arrive-N-Ride rider Thad DuVall got off to a great start aboard his Husqvarna FC350, where he maintained a top five running for most of the three-hour race. DuVall entered himself into podium contention around the mid-way point, where he battled for the third place position all the way to the finish, coming through only 1.3 seconds behind Grant Baylor for fourth overall.
In the XC2 Pro Lites class, team rider Nick Davis extended his win-streak to two-in-a-row after a hard fought battle with class front-runners Jason Thomas and Ricky Russell. Davis began the three-hour race in third place, but the Pennsylvania native upped his pace to take over the lead on lap five, where he ultimately finished 21 seconds ahead of Thomas for the win.
