Motion Pro has its roots in racing and provides support to many professional and amateur riders & mechanics worldwide, in virtually every discipline. We also support a wide range of events covering amateur to professional dirt track, off-road, ATV and motocross.

This month we would like to give praise to the Motion Pro riders who have claimed top honors early in the AMA Pro Motocross and AMA Pro Flat Track series. We build champions?

Ken Roczen Crowned 2016 AMA Pro Motocross 450cc Class Champion
Kicking off the Pro Motocross season with a 1-1 at Hangtown, Ken Roczen proved that he was the man to beat in 2016. As the season carried on, the RCH Racing Team made it clear that they were a dominant force with Roczen and held onto the coveted red number plate.

Fast forward to Budds Creek National, the RCH Racing/ Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John?s Suzuki found its way to another 1-1 for the overall and Ken Roczen clinching the 2016 450MX Championship with one round to go. As true champion, Roczen would not cruise through the final round at the Ironman National. He would claim his 19th and 20th moto win of the year, out of 24, showcasing the most dominant motocross season ever outside of legends Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart.

Cooper Webb Crowned 2016 AMA Pro Motocross 250cc Class Champion
At the beginning of the season, no one would have guessed that as we headed into the penultimate round of the 2016 Pro Motocross Championship, STAR Racing Yamaha rider Cooper Webb would be carrying an 81 point lead in the point standings. Despite injuries going into the MX season, Webb put in the hard work all season, recording consistently good finishes that win championships. As the season went on, he gained strength and his momentum turned into dominance.

Cooper Webb claimed the 2016 250MX Championship with 1 round to go at Budds Creek National and earned his first ever Pro Motocross #1 Plate. As Cooper Webb moves to the Factory Yamaha team in 2017, he is now eligible to pick a permanent single digit competition number.

Ryan Wells Claims 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track GNC2 Championship

Long time Motion Pro supported rider Ryan Wells has been chasing the AMA Pro Flat Track ?GNC2? Championship for 5 years now. In 2016, Wells signed with the Parkinson Brothers Racing Team, who has crowned 4 of the last 5 Champions in class. With the continued support of great sponsors, the backing of his team and family, Ryan Wells has put together an amazing season so far winning 3 races and only finishing outside of the top five once.

?We want to win, and we want to have fun?, said Ryan on the podium at the New York Half-Mile. He did just that, claiming the 2016 AMA Pro Flat Track GNC #1 plate at the New York ½ Mile with two rounds remaining.
