For use with stock carb. Stock reel is 40 mm. 01-3024 Rev3 Throttle Kit is a special performance Rev2 / Rev3 throttle kit that includes a cable set which routes in front of the meter cluster and to the left side of 2008 - 2016 Yamaha YZF R6. Left side cable routing provides the best fit and minimizes multiple compound bends than OEM routing leading to the bell crank on the throttle bodies. For closed course track use only. For use with Rev2 and Rev3 throttles only.
In addition, Rev3 Kits have cables specifically designed for fitment on specific models, but the Rev3 throttle itself is not model specific. Therefore, in some situations, the Rev3 kit may not be a direct bolt on installation due to space limitations on the stock handlebar. In some installations, it may be necessary to move other control components on the stock handlebar, shorten the Rev3 throttle tube and grip, install longer after market handlebars, or possibly all of the above. It is up to the end user to determine the best method for fitment on their motorcycle, and ensure that the Rev3 kit is installed properly and with the correct clearances for safe operation.
