Chris Carter wins Spirit Of The Quail Award for 2022
Loomis, CA. (May, 2022) – Motion Pro Inc. is happy to announce, Chris Carter, owner of Motion Pro, Inc. won the Spirit Of The Quail Award for 2022 with his rare and iconic Honda RS750D. More specifically, Bubba Shobert’s winning factory machine from his ’87 AMA Grand National Championship. The Quail Motorcycle Gathering held its 10th annual event on May 14th, 2022, after a two year hiatus. The prestigious motorcycle event takes place at the award winning golf course of the Quail Lodge & Golf Club, located in Carmel, California. Celebrating the evolution of two-wheels, the event features over 350 vintage and modern motorcycles displayed on the beautiful grass of the golf course. Of the many motorcycle classes competing at the event, the Spirit Of The Quail award is the most prestigious award and is reserved for the motorcycle which best embodies the spirit of motorcycling.
Additionally, the Quail Motorcycle Show featured a special Harley-Davidson XR750 50 year exhibit. Chris Carter brought a very unique machine to show, a 1970 Harley-Davidson Ironhead XR750, which drew a lot of attention from former racers and spectators. Chris also took 1st place in the Competition Off-Road Class showing a rare Cal Rayborn dual carb KR750 flat tracker.

Alongside the award winning Honda RS750D at the show, Chris Carter displayed his most recent project that delves into the famous history and development of Hondas then Dirt Track racing program, fueling the Honda versus Harley rivalry, an iconic chapter in dirt track racing history.
