Sacramento Mile 2022 & Motion Pro Legends of Flat Track

We attended the American Flat Track races on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Sacramento, CA Cal Expo Fairgrounds for the legendary Sacramento Mile. The event delivered great racing for the fans in attendance. The weekend took a toll on the riders and AFT paddock due to the warm summer months in Sacramento, CA. Temperatures were on the rise throughout the day, peaking at 105 degrees by late afternoon. The hot weather proved difficult for track conditions early-on, but plenty of water and preparation was done by the time racing kicked off in the evening. Making for some great racing in all AFT classes.

MP employee Kellie Dempsey helped customers at the event in part with the 41live booth setup.

Motion Pro is proud support the event and our ’22 AFT riders and teams in the paddock. We were on-hand for the action and to support the “Legends of Flat Track” autograph signing with many notable flat track legends participating in the signing for the fans. Motion Pro has put on the legends autograph signing since 2010 as part of an effort to bring National Flat Track back to the West coast during that time. Also, the Hot Shoe Hall of Fame took part with their own booth and riders. MP employee Kellie Dempsey helped customers at the event alongside 41live.

The Legends of Flat Track autograph signing was a hit, a number of fans took the opportunity to meet some of their favorite Flat Track riders from past.

Despite the warm weather, a large turnout of fans was great to see. They were treated to some exciting racing from the AFT riders despite the early-day conditions. Enjoy some of the photos from the day below.
