The Durty Knuckle

This dirt bike inspired rigid Knucklehead is a unique machine built by world renowned, new generation builder, Bill Dodge of Bling’s Cycles.  Bill opened his own shop in 2005, after eight years of working as a shop foreman in Long Beach, CA.  He takes pride in building solid, clean motorcycles; never compromising the performance of the bike.

The concept of the bike came to be at the 2010 V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Motion Pro invited Bill Dodge to display one of his custom bikes in their booth. The bike proved to be a show stopper and a crowd favorite.  Joe Fratis, Motion Pro’s V-Twin Brand Manager, was asked many times if the bike was his. At the end of the show Joe downloaded with Bill about all of the positive conversations about the bike and the crowd it drew to the booth. Dodge replied by suggesting they build a custom bike for Joe for the 2012 show.

In February 2010 Joe and Bill decided to work together on the custom bike build and with the help of Motion Pro, S&S CYCLES, Continental Tires, Ride Wright Wheels, Rivera Primo, Duane Ballard Custom Leather, Baker Transmission, Gardner Wescott Hardware, and Goodridge the bike was completed in February 2012.
