Kawasaki superseded the flywheel for this model to the 1996 and later KL650. The 1996 and later KL650A uses 22 mm puller 08-0074. Measure the flywheel thread diameter to determine if either 08-0074 or 08-0085 is needed.

We recommend careful inspection of the pivot bolt when replacing a lever and that you replace the pivot bolt and lock nut if there are any signs of wear or if the prior lever suffered any impact damage. We also recommend that you replace the lock nut anytime the lever is removed. Pivot bolt and lock nut must be installed and tightened properly as recommended by the manufacturer of your motorcycle. Please remember to lubricate the pivot bolt per the factory service manual recommendations.

For servicing front brake caliper hydraulic fluid. NOTE: Kawasaki updated the bleeder screw from 10 mm to 8 mm on some models. Physically check your caliper bleeder screw to determine if it is 8 mm or 10 mm hex bleeder screw. If the bleeder screw is 8 mm, purchase part number 08-0482 8 mm mini bleeder.
